Summer School "SCHOOL FOR THE COMMUNITY" (August, 1 – 10, 2012)

(Organizers: Elementary School "Michael the Brave" in Târgovişte, Stef Publishing House, Resources and European Studies Research Center), August, 1 – 10, 2012

The fundamental aim of the summer school was "Enhancing employability of youth the European labor market through training, information and communication technology".

This project’s purposes were: organizing and participating in the training session "Education for Community and European spirit", educating participant children to assimilate the basics of the  unconventional languages (reading, writing, art), [empowering them to knowledge and mastery close environment, the creative potential of intuition and imagination, as well as training motivation for learning, considered as a social activity and achieving a balanced combination of fun activities specific to the summer holidays and of educational activities specific to the school year].

Coordinators of this second edition of the project: prof.Gheorghiţa Stancu, prof.  Anca Teodorescu, prof. Luminiţa Bobeş from Elementary School "Michael the Brave" (Târgovişte), lect.dr. Sebastian Chirimbu (USH). The edition received strong attendance: 50 children and 50 teachers from different schools across the country.

Closing ceremony included a play, called “The Little Puppeteer”) and the awarding of the appreciation certificates to the involved teachers, project partners and young participants (students).

    ECTICI 2012 International Conference (15-16 June 2012)

ECTICI 2012 International Conference dedicated to education, communication, translation and interpreting (15-16 June 2012) in collaboration with CCRSE

Stef Publishing House and Resources and European Studies Research Center (International Institutional Partnership), Department of Foreign Languages and Communication UTCB, Faculty of Technological Equipment UTCB supported by the European Alliance for American Education organized the ECTICI 2012 International Conference dedicated to education, communication, translation and interpreting (15-16 June 2012). Records confirmed a total of 165 participants from Romania and abroad.

In parallel was held the International Forum of Teachers, using information technology (presence or virtual participation). The activities were conducted in two working groups: New Education from the European perspective, educational and in European Context.
